Born in Germany, grew up in the US. She was a secretary for over 20 years working with Holocaust survivors. Subsequently she studied physical therapy and worked in a large PT department for 20 years until she came to live in Israel in 1985. She continued working as a Physical Therapist in various nursing homes until 2000. Inge is now an exercise teacher, particularly water exercise, at Herzliya Country Club and at a retirement home. She is chairperson of the ESRA Golden Friendship Club, treasurer of the Vered Hasharon chapter of Hadassah-Israel, proofreads the ESRA MAGAZINE and delivers same, and for many years delivered Meals on Wheels, is active in her synagogue and regularly visits the sick and shut-ins. Inge enjoys classical music concerts, the opera, swimming, reading, writing, sewing, cooking and baking. She is a widow and has two children, six fantastic grandchildren.
Inge David mourns the loss of her dear friend Henry Blanks. She describes their wonderful life together, and Henry's warm and pleasant personality.
