Jane Davidson was born in Baltimore US. She received a Masters degree in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Maryland, worked as a teacher in the Schools of Nursing both at the University of Maryland and Boston University, and took courses at Lesley College in expressive therapies.
Jane and her family came to live in Israel from the US in 1970, making Ashkelon their home. A psychiatric nurse, she worked as faculty mainly at Barzilai and Assaf HaRofe Hospitals in their Schools of Nursing.
An avid amateur thespian and singer, she performed in Israel with Logon, Tact, The Old Barn and Ashkelon Municipal Theater. Having studied Drama Therapy, she happily combined the use of drama in her teaching.
Since her retirement, she ran an Acting Workshop, volunteered to do "English through Drama" for grade school pupils and branched into directing of plays.
