Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, R.M. Kiel came to live in Tel Aviv, Israel in December 2002. She has a BA Hons in Applied Linguistics. She is teacher of English, public speaking, debating, storytelling. She edited the South African edition of Julius Caesar and has published mainly in teachers' journals in SA, and also in Tel Aviv Short Stories and Israel Short Stories.
ESRA’s visit to Yad Vashem focused on the Museum of Holocaust Art – art works that had been done by prisoners and hidden during the Holocaust. Also visited were the gardens dedicated to the Righteous among the Nations.
