Sybil Levin was born and raised in the United Kingdom. In Manchester, for seven years, she worked as the Aliyah Secretary of the Jewish Agency for the North West of England. Prior to coming to live in Israel in 1979 the Jewish Telegraph wrote: "She sold herself Israel!". Sybil works as a legal secretary for a firm specializing in Intellectual Property Law. She enjoys writing, mainly poetry, but has recently started writing short articles.
Describes the wonderful work of caring for abandoned dogs in Hadera in the superb Shelter for Dogs, started by volunteers. Dedicated staff are assisted by the community. There are many stories of individual dogs who have benefitted by this humane and successful project.
