An ESRA – RAMAT HASHARON Project
Moadonit Nitzanim, one of our local community projects, was adopted by ESRA Ramat Hasharon in 1995. It is an afternoon kindergarten which provides an enrichment program for children aged 3-5, to prepare them to enter Grade 1. Over the years we have donated needed equipment to the Moadonit (T.V., video, microwave, playground apparatus, and more). Recently a number of items were purchased: a basketball hoop, a football goal, a doll carriage and a doll for the children’s use during their play period. Proceeds from ESRA Ramat Hasharon's annual concert are earmarked for local projects, among them Moadonit Nitzanim.
Nitzanim is administered by the Moadonit section of the city of Ramat Hasharon’s Social and Welfare Department, supervised by Na’ava Ben Yehuda. A close and warm bond exists between us and Nitzanim. We are invited to join the children and their parents in celebrating Rosh Hashanah, Chanukah, Purim and the End of Year Party. Participating in the children’s festivities, seeing their smiling faces and their enjoyment of the equipment we provided is a wonderful and heartwarming experience. In addition, we have the satisfaction of knowing that we are contributing not only to the welfare and progress of the children but also to the community at large.
