Category: ESRA News Issue No. 164
On Purim the Yad Hatisha Community Center held their annual Purim event. This year the theme was different countries and cultures and ten rooms in the center were decorated to represent different countries and regions. Included were a Brazilian jungle, China, Romania and Italy.
The ESRA students chose as their theme the Antarctic and the room was decorated with white background to represent ice and snow with drawings of penguins. Visiting children were invited to "fish" in the ice hole and were rewarded with a gift if they were successful. Amazingly everyone seemed to catch a fish.
